Drawing and model
The model was built from the two elevations and rendered from orthographic cameras registered to each drawing’s pixel scale, so each pair can be compared directly. The drawings are inked line art with panel lines; the model reproduces the shapes, proportions and parts but not the ink.

Where the drawing was ambiguous
- Dimensions. The drawings disagree with themselves (the side view reads “6 ins) (mhen”; the front view labels 6.00 in across the lamps but the figure is only about 4.2 in wide). The model keeps the 6.00 in overall height, then takes every other size from pixel positions in each view (174.5 px per inch in the front view, 179 in the side view). That makes the base plate 4.2 in across, not the 4.00 in label. The two views differ by about 2.5 % in scale, so the model is a compromise between them.
- Hidden surfaces. Neither view shows the back, so the rear of the head, torso and legs is inferred. The rear pod and antenna come from the side view only and their central position is a guess.
- Simplified detail. Panel lines and engraving are reduced to a few raised bands and rivets; the plate holes are a regular ring pattern rather than a trace. The front drawing looks down on the plate slightly, which the level model does not.
- Materials. Colours are estimated from the drawing: pale painted gold, gray steel, gray glass and amber lamps.
- Printing. The STL is made of overlapping closed parts. Most slicers accept that; fuse it in a CAD tool first if yours does not.
